Residents receive a minimum of one hour of therapy each week, as well as eight hours of therapeutic activity every day. Individual and group counseling as well as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) may be included in treatment options. Mavericks House was originally built as a boathouse in the early 1980s in historic Princeton by the Sea. In 2009, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company took over and turned it into the beautiful oceanfront event space it is today. Mavericks House is named for the most famous big wave break on the continental US, Mavericks, which is just up the road from Mavericks House. Our intakes are conducted at the Terros Health Olive Health Center in Glendale.

We are often able to locate AHCCCS enrollment or grant funding that covers your cost of treatment.
We work with you to provide a comprehensive discharge plan. This plan will guide you in what happens after you graduate the program. This may include specific referrals and care coordination to intensive outpatient treatment, co-occurring treatment programs, or sober living programs. Each resident is assigned a case manager.This individual helps you to navigate what otherwise might be an overwhelming amount of information, needs, and agency coordination. Each resident is paired with a primary counselor.Our counselors have small caseloads and provide very personalized attention and care.
